PZL P.11 Polish Fighter Family
The PZL P.11 was a Polish all-metal fighter that evolved from Zygmunt Puławski's gull-wing designs and formed the core of Poland's fighter force before the Second World War. Although overtaken by newer aircraft by 1939, P.11 units carried the opening defense of Poland and the type remains an important symbol of Polish aviation engineering.
