RFA ONE is Rocket Factory Augsburg's three-stage orbital launcher, developed for dedicated and rideshare satellite missions from SaxaVord Spaceport. Nine oxygen-rich staged-combustion Helix engines power the first stage, with a vacuum engine on the second and the Redshift orbital transfer stage above it. Stainless-steel tanks and composite interstages form the main structure. Performance is configuration dependent: the manufacturer's general offering advertises 1,300 kg to 500 km Sun-synchronous orbit, while ESA's August 2026 description gives 500 kg for the current initial configuration. First-stage recovery is a future development objective.
