The Schleicher ASK 21 is a two-seat composite sailplane designed by Rudolf Kaiser for primary instruction, first solo flights, cross-country training, and aerobatics. Its forgiving handling, durable structure, tandem cockpit, and compatibility with aerotow and winch launching made it a standard club and school trainer worldwide. The current ASK 21 B continues the unpowered design with incremental cockpit, control, and maintenance improvements.
