Sikorsky S-92 Advanced Transport Helicopter Family

The Sikorsky S-92 is a large twin-engine transport-helicopter family developed for demanding civil and government operations. Although informed by experience with the H-60/S-70 dynamic system, the production S-92 became a substantially new commercial rotorcraft with a larger cabin, damage-tolerant structures, modern avionics, and long-range all-weather capability. The family serves offshore energy transport, search and rescue, air ambulance, utility, scheduled passenger, executive, head-of-state, emergency-response, and firefighting missions; military derivatives include the CH-148 and VH-92.
