Its stressed-skin aluminum airframe and responsive handling support personal travel, touring, and flight training, while kit-built, ready-to-fly, light-sport, and tailwheel configurations serve different national and operating requirements. The production prototype demonstrated the design's long-range potential by flying around the world in 2009, and the family remains in production.
