Surveyor 7 Lunar Lander Spacecraft

Surveyor 7 was NASA’s final original Surveyor lunar lander and the only one to land in the lunar highlands near Tycho crater. Launched in 1968, it carried the series’ most extensive instrument suite, returned 21,274 photographs and chemical and soil-mechanics data, and ended operations in February 1968.
