TENACIOUS Lunar Micro Rover

TENACIOUS was the approximately 5 kg, four-wheel lunar micro rover developed, designed, manufactured, and assembled by ispace EUROPE S.A. for ispace Mission 2, also known as HAKUTO-R Mission 2. The rover used a carbon-fibre-reinforced frame, a forward HD camera, and wheels shaped for stable traversal of lunar regolith. It was intended to be lowered from the RESILIENCE lander for autonomous lunar-surface driving, imaging, and regolith collection supporting a NASA purchase contract. RESILIENCE experienced a hard landing during the June 2025 lunar descent and the mission was concluded before TENACIOUS could deploy.
