Themis T1H single-engine hop demonstrator

T1H is the first Themis flight-model configuration, built for low-altitude vertical-takeoff and vertical-landing tests at Esrange in Sweden. One throttleable Prometheus engine provides continuous thrust during the initial planned hop. The demonstrator stands approximately 30 m tall on its deployed landing legs and is 3.5 m wide. Ground rehearsals use liquid nitrogen to exercise cryogenic systems without loading methane and oxygen for a flight.
