Thor-Delta A Launch Vehicle
Thor-Delta A was the first named upgrade of the original Delta configuration. The three-stage vehicle introduced an uprated Thor first stage and revised Delta upper stages. Two vehicles flew for NASA in October 1962, successfully launching Explorer 14 and Explorer 15.
