Thor-Delta B Launch Vehicle

Thor-Delta B, also called Operational Delta, was a three-stage development of Delta A with an improved AJ10-118A second stage. Nine vehicles flew for NASA from December 1962 through March 1964. Eight launch vehicles completed their planned ascent, while the final flight failed after a third-stage malfunction.
