Thor-Delta G Launch Vehicle

Thor-Delta G was a two-stage, thrust-augmented improved Delta configuration using a strap-on-augmented Thor first stage and an enlarged AJ10-powered Delta second stage without a solid third stage. Two vehicles flew successfully for NASA, launching Biosatellite 1 in December 1966 and Biosatellite 2 in September 1967.
