Titan IIID was the heavy low-Earth-orbit member of the Titan III family, essentially a solid-boosted Titan IIIC core without Transtage. It flew 22 successful National Reconnaissance Office imaging missions from Vandenberg Space Launch Complex 4 East between 1971 and 1982: seventeen KH-9 Hexagon and five KH-11 missions.
