Tsyklon-2A (11K67) Launch Vehicle

Tsyklon-2A was the interim 11K67 orbital launch vehicle derived from the R-36 missile before the definitive 11K69 Tsyklon-2. Eight two-stage vehicles flew from Baikonur Site 90 between 1967 and 1969 in support of early IS anti-satellite and US-A ocean-surveillance spacecraft testing; seven launches succeeded and the final attempt failed during orbital insertion.
