Unha Launch Vehicle Family
Unha is the published family name for North Korea's early three-stage orbital launch vehicles. Unha-2 flew in 2009 and Unha-3 flew from 2012 through 2016. United Nations technical investigations found the variants highly similar, while documenting them as separately named vehicles. The lineage achieved its first successful orbital insertion in December 2012.
