NASA’s UltraViolet EXplorer (UVEX) is a selected Medium-Class Explorer space observatory in Phase B development for a targeted 2030 launch. It will survey the ultraviolet sky, rapidly follow up gravitational-wave sources, and use ultraviolet spectroscopy to study stellar explosions and massive stars.
