Vickers Valiant V-bomber Family
The Vickers Valiant was Britain's first V-bomber to enter Royal Air Force service and the first operational leg of the V-force strategic bomber lineage. Its straight-wing, four-jet design delivered Britain's early airborne nuclear deterrent and supported long-range conventional, reconnaissance, and in-flight-refuelling work before the type was retired in the 1960s.
