Vostok-2M (8A92M) was a three-stage Soviet orbital launch vehicle in the R-7 lineage, used from 1964 through 1991. Developed as a specialized successor to Vostok-2, it placed Meteor weather, Tselina-D signals-intelligence, Resurs Earth-observation, Interkosmos, and Indian IRS spacecraft into high-inclination and Sun-synchronous orbits.
