Zhurong Tianwen-1 Mars rover
Zhurong was China's first Mars rover, carried by the Tianwen-1 orbiter-lander mission. It landed in Utopia Planitia on 15 May 2021 and drove onto the Martian surface on 22 May, using six science instruments to survey terrain, composition, subsurface structure, meteorology, and local magnetic fields. CNSA reported completion of the planned 90-sol traverse mission, later extension to 1,921 m, and hibernation in 2022.
