Able 5B (Pioneer P-31)
Able 5B (Pioneer P-31) was the physical lunar-orbiter spacecraft launched on 15 December 1960 in the final U.S. lunar-orbiter attempt of the 1959-1960 sequence. Its Atlas Able booster exploded seconds after launch and the payload fell into the Atlantic Ocean.
