Antonov An-225 Mriya airframe

This was the sole completed and flown An-225 airframe. It first flew in December 1988, carried the Buran orbiter during the Soviet aerospace-system test program, and later entered commercial heavy-lift service with Antonov Airlines. The aircraft set numerous payload and transport records and supported urgent global cargo missions before it was destroyed during fighting at Hostomel Airport in February 2022.
