Aquarius was Apollo 13's Lunar Module, LM-7. Aquarius became the Apollo 13 crew's lifeboat after an oxygen-tank explosion disabled the Command and Service Module. Its power, water, oxygen, navigation, and propulsion supported the three astronauts around the Moon and back to Earth before it was jettisoned for atmospheric reentry.
