Atlas-Agena A 45D/1007
Atlas 45D with Agena A 1007 successfully launched MIDAS 2 on 24 May 1960. It was the first successful Atlas-Agena A and placed the infrared early-warning experiment into a roughly 300-nautical-mile orbit, although spacecraft attitude-control problems limited the mission.
