Atlas I AC-74 UHF F1 Flight Vehicle

General Dynamics Atlas I vehicle AC-74 launched the first UHF Follow-On military communications satellite on 25 March 1993. Atlas sustainer underperformance left UHF F1 in the wrong orbit; controllers then used a series of 25 spacecraft maneuvers to salvage the satellite into a super-synchronous orbit, making the launch a partial performance failure rather than a total payload loss.
