Beresheet Lunar Lander
Beresheet was Israel’s first lunar spacecraft and the first privately funded craft to reach lunar orbit. Launched on February 22, 2019, it entered lunar orbit on April 4 and was destroyed during its April 11 soft-landing attempt in Mare Serenitatis.
