Boeing X-32A concept demonstrator

The Boeing X-32A was the first flying X-32 concept demonstrator and the preserved aircraft used to represent Boeing's Joint Strike Fighter proposal. It made the family's first flight from Palmdale to Edwards Air Force Base on 18 September 2000 and completed the conventional-takeoff and carrier-approach portion of the competition's flight-test programme.
