Dassault Mirage IV 01 prototype

Mirage IV 01 was the first aircraft of the family and the prototype for France’s twin-engine supersonic strategic aircraft. Dassault test pilot Roland Glavany flew it for the first time from Melun-Villaroche on 17 June 1959, beginning the flight-test programme that led to Mirage IVA and IVP production families.
