EOS-09, also designated RISAT-1B, was a 1,696.24-kilogram ISRO synthetic-aperture-radar satellite intended to increase the frequency of all-weather Earth observations. It was lost when PSLV-C61 suffered a third-stage anomaly before orbital insertion on May 18, 2025.
