Epsilon-1 was the sole Test Flight Model and the maiden vehicle of Japan’s Epsilon lineage. It launched from Uchinoura on 14 September 2013 and successfully deployed the SPRINT-A extreme-ultraviolet astronomy satellite, subsequently named HISAKI.
