Explorer 35 (AIMP-E / AIMP-6) was the physical lunar-orbiter spacecraft launched on 19 July 1967. It entered lunar orbit on 21 July, established that the Moon has no global magnetosphere, measured solar-wind interaction and the lunar environment, and operated until it was switched off on 24 June 1973 before later impacting the Moon.
