Falcon Heavy Demonstration Flight Vehicle

The Falcon Heavy demonstration flight vehicle was the three-core launch stack used for Falcon Heavy’s inaugural mission on 6 February 2018. The two previously flown side boosters returned successfully to landing zones at Cape Canaveral, while the center core was not recovered after launch. The upper stage sent the Tesla Roadster payload toward heliocentric orbit.
