GSLV-D2
GSLV-D2 was the second developmental Mk I vehicle. On 8 May 2003 it successfully placed the 1,800-kilogram GSAT-2 experimental communications satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit, demonstrating increased payload performance over GSLV-D1.
