İMECE

İMECE is TÜBİTAK UZAY’s sub-metre-resolution Earth-observation satellite, launched on April 15, 2023. The approximately 700 kg spacecraft uses the TstarL-100 platform and operates near 680 km altitude. Its electro-optical payload provides sub-metre panchromatic imaging and 3.96 m red, green, blue and near-infrared observations. The mission established domestic high-resolution spacecraft and subsystem capabilities, including onboard computing, power distribution, attitude sensors, image-data handling, X-band communications and electric propulsion. It is distinct from the later İMECE-2 and İMECE-3 development effort.
