Kawasaki XP-1 first prototype
The first Kawasaki XP-1 prototype was built at Kawasaki's Gifu plant for Japan's next-generation fixed-wing maritime-patrol programme. It completed its maiden flight on 28 September 2007 and led the flight-test work that matured into the P-1 family.
