Kosmos 47 was the uncrewed Voskhod 3KV No. 2 qualification spacecraft launched on October 6, 1964. Its one-day orbital flight successfully tested the modified three-seat spacecraft and its parachute-and-retro-rocket soft-landing system before Voskhod 1 flew six days later; the capsule was recovered on October 7.
