Lear Jet 23 prototype N802L

N802L was the second Lear Jet Model 23 prototype and the first production-standard example. It flew more than 1,100 hours in test service and is preserved by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum as an artifact of the business-jet market the Model 23 helped create.
