Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor 4001
Raptor 4001 was the first F-22 engineering-and-manufacturing-development aircraft and the first production-representative Raptor to fly. Lockheed Martin test pilot Paul Metz flew it from Marietta, Georgia, on 7 September 1997, beginning the F-22 flight-test programme.
