Lunar IceCube was a 6U CubeSat launched on Artemis I in 2022 to prospect for water and other volatiles around the Moon. Its BIRCHES infrared spectrometer and RF ion engine supported compact lunar-science and propulsion technology demonstrations in a Morehead State University-led partnership with NASA and Busek.
