Magellan
Magellan was the single spacecraft launched aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis on May 4, 1989 and deployed toward Venus with an Inertial Upper Stage. It entered Venus orbit on August 10, 1990, mapped nearly the entire surface and much of the gravity field, demonstrated sustained aerobraking, and was deliberately driven into the atmosphere at the end of its mission on October 13, 1994.
