New Horizons is NASA's active radioisotope-powered Pluto and Kuiper Belt probe. It flew within about 7,800 kilometers of Pluto on July 14, 2015, completed the first close reconnaissance of the Pluto system, flew past Arrokoth on January 1, 2019, and continues collecting heliophysics data in the outer solar system.
