NISAR

NISAR is a 2,392-kilogram joint NASA-ISRO radar satellite in a 747-kilometer, 98.4-degree sun-synchronous orbit. NASA supplied the L-band radar, reflector antenna, and supporting systems; ISRO supplied the S-band radar, spacecraft bus, launch vehicle, and launch services. Its 12-meter deployable antenna enables repeated high-resolution mapping across broad swaths of Earth's surface.
