Phobos-Grunt
Phobos-Grunt was the physical Russian orbiter-and-lander spacecraft built for a Mars-system mission to collect a sample from Phobos and return it to Earth. It launched on 8 November 2011, entered low Earth orbit, and was lost after the planned Fregat escape burns failed.
