Tango was PRISMA’s nonmaneuvering target flight article. It launched attached to Mango in June 2010 and separated on August 11, allowing formation-flying experiments to begin. Magnetic attitude control and navigation measurements enabled it to act as a cooperative reference without orbit-control propulsion. Mission completion in 2014 is distinct from orbital reentry.
