Ranger 6
Ranger 6 was the first Block III Ranger spacecraft, designed to transmit high-resolution lunar approach photographs before impact. A short-circuit disabled its camera power supply during launch, but the spacecraft flew to the Moon and impacted on target and on schedule on 2 February 1964.
