Saunders-Roe SR.53 prototype XD145
XD145 was the first SR.53 prototype and made the type's 20-minute first flight from Boscombe Down on 16 May 1957. It later completed high-speed and altitude research flights before entering the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford collection.
