Shenzhou 12 was the crewed Shenzhou spacecraft launched from Jiuquan on June 17, 2021 for China's first crewed mission to the Tianhe core module of the Tiangong space station. It carried Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, and Tang Hongbo, docked rapidly with Tianhe, supported a three-month station-construction stay with robotic-arm work, life-support checks, and EVAs, and returned the crew to Earth on September 17, 2021.
