Shenzhou 22 was the Shenzhou spacecraft launched uncrewed from Jiuquan on November 25, 2025 as China's first emergency launch in the human spaceflight program. It flew to Tiangong to restore return capability for the Shenzhou 21 crew after Shenzhou 21 had been used to bring the Shenzhou 20 crew home. The spacecraft carried supplies and repair equipment, docked with Tianhe the same day, and later returned Zhang Lu, Wu Fei, and Zhang Hongzhang safely to Earth on May 29, 2026.
