Shenzhou 3

Shenzhou 3 was the third uncrewed flight test of China's human spaceflight program and the first Shenzhou with a technical state matching a crewed spacecraft. From 25 March to 1 April 2002 it completed 107 orbits, tested escape and emergency-rescue functions with instrumented human-simulation equipment, and returned its reentry module safely while the orbital module continued its science program.
