Shenzhou 4 was the fourth and final uncrewed qualification flight before China's first human spaceflight. It launched on 29 December 2002 UTC in a near-crewed configuration, completed 108 orbits and extensive system and science tests, and landed in Inner Mongolia on 5 January 2003.
