This Simorgh successfully launched the Mahda research satellite and the Kayhan-2 and Hatef-1 nanosatellites on 28 January 2024. The mission was Simorgh's first successful orbital insertion after multiple earlier attempts and placed all three payloads into low Earth orbit.
