SNCASE SE.3130 Alouette II Prototype 01

Prototype 01 was the first SE.3130 Alouette II, flown by Jean Boulet at Buc on March 12, 1955. Its turbine-powered flight programme demonstrated the configuration that moved French helicopter production into a new era. The aircraft later flew under its own power to the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace, where it is preserved in the helicopter hall.
